1. I am concerned that my dog will not behave and is very nervous with new people?
Answer: You need to ensure that the dog photographer has lots of experience working with dogs and of all types and breeds, otherwise the photoshoot could be a disaster and a very stressful experience for both you and your dog/s.

2. I am not sure if my dog will sit still for the photos?
Answer: Ensuring that the dog photographer has a safe and quite area available in which to take the photographs is important. Using a lead could be an option, but its worth checking with the dog photographer first to ensure they have the correct editing skills to remove the lead in editing if required.
We use the very latest editing software which enables us to easily remove the dogs leads if required and to be honest on 99% of the shoots we do use them as it just allows the dogs to settle and have fun and it also takes the stress off YOU!!!

4. My dog is not good off lead, how can I get any good action shots? (outdoor sessions)
Answer: check that the photographer has a safe area in which to take the images and that the dog photographer is able to remove the lead in editing.

5. Why don't I just take the photos on my phone camera? Why do I need a professional photographer?
Answer: Phone camera's are amazing and can take some wonderful images for sure. A professional photographer can use their knowledge and expertise to capture images that you could not get in much better quality, which is essential if you are looking at turning the images into doggie artwork.
Its important that the professional photographers equipment is up to the job. Dogs are not easy to photograph and so making sure the photographer has invested in good quality equipment is essential. Also, ask to see examples of their work and finished artwork if possible.

6. What happens if it rains? or the weather is bad? and I have to cancel my dog photography shoot? (outdoor sessions)

The one thing that we cannot control is the weather so if we have to postpone your photoshoot due to bad weather we will gladly do so at no charge. We also appreciate that life is busy and if for any other reason you have to postpone your shoot we will be happy to work with you on finding another suitable date.
7. I don't think my dog would relax in an indoor studio environment?
Answer: Dogs do need a comfortable, stress free and natural environment in which to capture their true character. If you do like the studio style of images, its important to ask what options are available to you, being either inside or outside. Dogs can get stressed inside and so making sure you have a choice can be a good thing.

Answer: Its so important to make sure that the dog photographer is able to offer you not only a viewing of your images so you can appreciate them and see exactly how they should look. But also to save you another long journey and taking time out of your busy lives to view them.
